Cary Church of God is a multi-cultural, caring congregation from all walks of life that strongly believes in reaching out beyond ourselves to spread and apply the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Here you will find a warm welcome and ample opportunity to grow in your relationship with Jesus and His Church.

Our goal in all we do is to Love God, Love People, and Serve God by Serving People. This can be seen throughout our congregation from the Sunday morning teachings, to worship, to our kids and youth programs, to our service and outreach ministries. We desire to be more than just church attenders-- we desire that all who call our church their home would Love God in all they do, Love People with the love of Christ, and Serve God by following his word and living out their lives as Christ would, in service and love to others.

Love God
Pursuing a personal, passionate relationship with God should be done both privately and corporately through:

Daily Prayer & Bible reading
Group Bible Studies
Regular Sunday morning and Wednesday evening church attendance

Love People
They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. {44} All the believers were together ... {46} Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, {47} praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

We are on this journey together and we need each other’s fellowship, friendship and encouragement. Ways to accomplish this are by:

Joining a Home Group
Participating in special events
Attending group activities and conferences
Getting together for a meal with other believers

Serve God by Serving People
Our goal is that each of us find a place of service. In Ephesians 4:16 we learn that we are all part of one body and it is necessary that we all do our part in order for the body to be complete, whole and effective. There are numerous opportunities to serve:

Fellow Believers—choir, ushers, greeters, teachers, parking, facilities upkeep…
Our Community—food pantry, homeless shelters, prison, back to school events...

WHAT WE BELIEVE

In the verbal inspiration of the Bible.

In one God eternally existing in three persons; namely, the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried and raised from the dead. That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor.

That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins.

That justification, regeneration and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.

In sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word and by the Holy Ghost.

Holiness to be God's standard of living for His people.

In the baptism with the Holy Ghost subsequent to a clean heart.

In speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and that it is the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

In water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.

Divine healing is provided for all in the atonement.

In the Lord's Supper and washing of the saints' feet.

In the premillennial second coming of Jesus. First, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him in the air. Second, to reign on the earth a thousand years.

In the bodily resurrection, eternal life for the righteous and eternal punishment for the wicked.
